Story of the Year - "Anthem Of Our Dying Day" Lyrics

The stars will cry
The blackest tears tonight
And this is the moment that I live for
I can smell the ocean air
And here I am
Pouring my heart onto these rooftops
Just a ghost to the world
That's exactly
Exactly what I need

From up here the city lights burn
Like a thousand miles of fire
And I'm here to sing this anthem
Of our dying day

For a second I wish the tide
Would swallow every inch of this city
As you gasp for air tonight
I'd scream this song right in your face
If you were here
I swear I won't miss a beat
Cause I never
Never have before

From up here the city lights burn
Like a thousand miles of fire
And I'm here to sing this anthem
Of our dying day

Of our dying day
Of our dying day
Of our dying!!!

For a second I wish the tide
Would swallow every inch of this city
And you gasp for air tonight!!

From up here the city lights burn
Like a thousand miles of fire
And I'm here to sing this anthem
Of our dying day
From up here the city lights burn
Like a thousand miles of fire
And I'm here to sing this anthem
Of our dying day
From up here the city lights burn
Like a thousand miles of fire
And I'm here to sing this anthem
Of our dying day

Our dying day
Of our dying!!!

Linkin Park - What I've Done Lyrics

In this farewell
There’s no blood
There’s no alibi
‘Cause I’ve drawn regret
From the truth
Of a thousand lies

[Pre-Chorus:]
So let mercy come
And wash away
What I’ve done

[Chorus:]
I'll face myself
To cross out what i’ve become
Erase myself
And let go of what i’ve done

Put to rest
What you thought of me
While I clean this slate
With the hands of uncertainty

[Pre-Chorus]

[Chorus]

For what I’ve done
I start again
And whatever pain may come
Today this ends
I’m forgiving what I’ve done!!!

[Chorus]

What I’ve done
Forgiving what I’ve done

Linkin Park - What I've Done Lyrics

Linkin Park - Bleed It Out Lyrics

[Mike Shinoda]

Here we go for the hundredth time,
Hand grenade pins in every line,
Throw 'em up and let something shine.
Going out of my f**king mind.
Filthy mouth, no excuse.
Find a new place to hang this noose.
String me up from atop these roofs.
Knot it tight so I won't get loose.
Truth is you can stop and stare,
Bled myself out and no one cares.
Dug a trench out, laid down there
With a shovel up out to reach somewhere.
Yeah someone pour it in,
Make it a dirt dance floor again.
Say your prayers and stomp it out,
When they bring that chorus in.

[Chester Bennington]

(Chorus)
I bleed it out,
Digging deeper just to throw it away.
I bleed it out,
Digging deeper just to throw it away.
I bleed it out,
Digging deeper just to throw it away,
Just to throw it away,
Just to throw it away.

[Mike Shinoda]

I bleed it out.
Go, stop the show.
Choppy words and a sloppy flow.
Shotgun opera, lock and load,
Cock it back and then watch it go.
Mama help me, I've been cursed,
Death is rolling in every verse.
Candy paint on his brand new hearse.
Can't contain him, he knows he works.
F**k this hurts, I won't lie.
Doesn't matter how hard I try.

Half the words don't mean a thing,
And I know that I won't be satisfied.
So why, try ignoring him.
Make it a dirt dance floor again.
Say your prayers and stomp it out,
When they bring that chorus in.

[Chester Bennington]

(Chorus)
I bleed it out,
Digging deeper just to throw it away.
I bleed it out,
Digging deeper just to throw it away.
I bleed it out,
Digging deeper just to throw it away,
Just to throw it away,
Just to throw it away.

I bleed it out.
I've opened up these scars,
I'll make you face this.
I pulled myself so far,
I'll make you face this now.

I bleed it out,
Digging deeper just to throw it away.
I bleed it out,
Digging deeper just to throw it away.
I bleed it out,
Digging deeper just to throw it away,
Just to throw it away,
Just to throw it away.

I bleed it out,
Digging deeper just to throw it away.
I bleed it out,
Digging deeper just to throw it away.
I bleed it out,
Digging deeper just to throw it away,
Just to throw it away,
Just to throw it away.

I bleed it out.
I bleed it out.
I bleed it out.

Creed - One Last Breath Lyrics

Please come now I think I'm falling
I'm holding to all I think is safe
It seems I found the road to nowhere
And I'm trying to escape
I yelled back when I heard thunder
But I'm down to one last breath
And with it let me say
Let me say

Hold me now
I'm six feet from the edge and I'm thinking
That maybe six feet
Ain't so far down

I'm looking down now that it's over
Reflecting on all of my mistakes
I thought I found the road to somewhere
Somewhere in His grace
I cried out heaven save me
But I'm down to one last breath
And with it let me say
Let me say

Hold me now
I'm six feet from the edge and I'm thinking
That maybe six feet
Ain't so far down

Sad eyes follow me
But I still believe there's something left for me
So please come stay with me
'Cause I still believe there's something left for you and me
For you and me
For you and me

Hold me now
I'm six feet from the edge and I'm thinking

Good Charlotte - Keep Your Hands off My Girl Lyrics

Let the record play,
Let the record play,
Let the record play.

The way that you dance,
The way that you move,
The way that you stare at me across the room,
You carry Dior bags,
And you got your Chanel,
You wear Louis Vuitton, HG, and YSL,
Now I got what you need,
I got DCMA
I got brass knuckles hanging,
From my neck in my chain,
I got a model 26,
But she stays in her place,
I got a curve shirt neatly,
Tucked inside in my waist.

[Chorus:]
And the record keeps playing,
The same old song,
The hipster keeps mugging on me all night long,
They say "Aha, ahha",
Keep your hands off my girl,
Keep your hands off my girl,
They say "Aha, ahha",
But the record keeps playing,
The same old song,
They say "Aha, ahha",
Keep your hands off my girl,
Keep your hands off my girl.

Now she sweating my friends,
And my hurricane shoes,
She likes the records I spin,
But out Adam Barton tattoos,
But she can't say "what's up",
So what does she do,
She just stays posted up,
The other side of the room,
I got AMC tattooed on my hand,
I got black wall street on a black bandana.

[Chorus:]
And the record keeps playing,
The same old song,
The hipster keeps mugging on me all night long,
They say "Aha, ahha",

Keep your hands off my girl,
Keep your hands off my girl,
They say "Aha, ahha",
But the record keeps playing,
The same old song,
They say "Aha, ahha",
Keep your hands off my girl,
Keep your hands off my girl.

She, she, she don't wanna talk about it,
He, he, he wants to fight about,
Me, me, I don't wanna fight about it,
I just wanna be about it,
I'm just trying to stay about it,
Step out the wagon,
You know the boy starts to hate,
The girl that came with him,
They like that's not the boy she dates,
They get the fighting and swearing,
And now the boyfriend is staring,
The disco ball on the ceiling,
Looks like the chain that I'm wearing,
But the music keeps playing,
I got brass knuckles hanging,
from my neck in my chain,
I got brass knuckles hanging,
from my neck in my chain.

And the record keeps playing,
The same old song,
The hipster keeps mugging on me all night long,
They say "Aha, ahha",
Keep your hands off my girl,
Keep your hands off my girl,
And the record keeps playing,
The same old song,
The hipster keeps mugging on me all night long,
They say "Aha, ahha",
Keep your hands off my girl,
Keep your hands off my girl.

You carry Dior bags,
And you got your Chanel,
You wear Louis Vuitton, HG, and YSL,
Now I got what you need,
I got DCMA,
I got brass knuckles hanging,
From my neck in my chain,
I got brass knuckles hanging,

Skillet Comatose Lyrics

I hate feelin' like this
I'm so tired of tryin' to fight this
I'm asleep and all I dream of is waking to You

Tell me that You will listen
Your touch is what I'm missin'
And the more I hide I realize I'm slowly losin' You

Comatose
I'll never wake up without an overdose of You

I don't wanna live
I don't wanna breathe
'less I feel You next to me
You take the pain I feel
(Wakin' up to You never felt so real)
I don't wanna sleep
I don't wanna dream
'cause my dreams don't comfort me
The way You make me feel
(Wakin' up to You never felt so real)

I hate livin' without You
Dead wrong to ever doubt You
But my demons lay in waitin'
Tempting me away
Oh how I adore You
Oh how I thirst for You
Oh how I need You

Comatose
I'll never wake up without an overdose of You

I don't wanna live
I don't wanna breathe
'less I feel You next to me

You take the pain I feel
(Wakin' up to You never felt so real)
I don't wanna sleep
I don't wanna dream
'cause my dreams don't comfort me
The way You make me feel
(Wakin' up to You never felt so real)

Breathing life
Waking up
My eyes
Open up

Comatose
I'll never wake up without an overdose of You

I don't wanna live
I don't wanna breathe
'less I feel You next to me
You take the pain I feel
(Wakin' up to You never felt so real)
I don't wanna sleep
I don't wanna dream
'cause my dreams don't comfort me
The way You make me feel
(Wakin' up to You never felt so real)

Oh how I adore You
Wakin' up to You never felt so real
Oh how I thirst for You
Wakin' up to You never felt so real
Oh how I adore You

Oh
The way You make me feel
Wakin' up to You never felt so real

Skillet Rebirthing Lyrics

I lie here paralytic
Inside this soul
Screaming for you till my throat is numb
I wanna break out I need a way out
I don't believe that it's gotta be this way
The worst is the waiting
In this womb I'm suffocating

[Bridge:]
Feel your presence filling up my lungs with oxygen
I take you in
I've died

[Chorus]:
Rebirthing now
I wanna live for love wanna live for you and me
Breathe for the first time now
I come alive somehow
Rebirthing now
I Wanna live my life wanna give you everything
Breathe for the first time now
I come alive somehow

Right now
Right now

I lie here lifeless
In this cocoon
Shedding my skin cause
I'm ready to
I wanna break out
I found a way out
I don't believe that it's gotta be this way
The worst is the waiting
In this womb I'm suffocating

[Bridge:]
Feel your presence filling up my lungs with oxygen
I take you in
I've died

[Chorus]:
Rebirthing now
I wanna live for love wanna live for you and me
Breathe for the first time now
I come alive somehow
Rebirthing now
I Wanna live my life wanna give you everything
Breathe for the first time now
I've come alive somehow

Tell me when I'm gonna live again
Tell me when I'm gonna breathe you in
Tell me when I'm gonna feel inside
Tell me when I'm gonna feel alive

Tell me when I'm gonna live again
Tell me when this fear will end
Tell me when I'm gonna feel inside
Tell me when I'll feel alive

[Chorus]:
Rebirthing now
I wanna live for love wanna live for you and me
Breathe for the first time now
I come alive somehow
Rebirthing now
I Wanna live my life wanna give you everything
Breathe for the first time now
I've come alive somehow

Blue is the second album by Third Eye Blind, written and recorded in 1999 and released on November 23, 1999. It is a moodier, darker album than the band's first, though the second single was the radio-friendly "Never Let You Go". The album went on to sell over 2 million copies.

Since April 2007, Third Eye Blind has been touring extensively throughout the US, playing dozens of sold-out shows as a build-up for the release of their new album. They will be touring with Counting Crows, Live, and Collective Soul during the summer of 2007.

My favorite songs off this album are "Deep Inside of You", "10 Days Late" and "Never Let You Go".

Third Eye Blind - Deep Inside of You Lyrics

When we met light was shed
Thoughts free flow you said youve got something
Deep inside of you
A wind chime voice sound sway of your hips round rings true
Echos deep inside of you
These secret garden beams changed my life so it seems
Fall breeze blows outside I dont bring stride
My thoughts are warm and they go deep inside of you
Oh yeah
And I never felt alone
Alright alone alone
Till I met you
Friends say Ive changed
I dont listen cause I live to be
Deep inside of you
Slide of her dress shouts in darkness
Im so alive im
Deep inside of you
You said boy make girl feel good
But still deep inside still
Ive never felt alone
Till I met you
Im alright on my own
Till I met you
And Id know what to do if I just knew whats coming
I would change myself if I could
Id walk with my own people if I could find them
And I would say that Im sorry to you
Im sorry to you but I dont want to call you
But then I want to call you cause I dont want to crush you
But I feel like crushing you and its true
I took for granted you were with me
I breath by your looks and you look right through me
But we were broken and didnt know it
But we were broken and didnt know it
But we were broken and didnt know it
But we were broken and didnt know it
Right oh whats right
Somethings gone you withdraw and Im not strong like before I was
Deep inside of you
I can go nowhere I burn candles and stare at a ghost
Deep inside of you
And some great need in me starts to bled
Ive lost my self theres nothing left its all gone
Deep inside of you
Deep inside of you

UnderOath - You're Ever So Inviting Lyrics

The time has come for you
to sit this out
To fit inside your mold
would be to sell myself short

This ground we tread upon
(We turn the pages left to right)
is now filling up to our necks
(We see everything)

Oh, my story's growing, and growing it is
on my last request
Don't make me feel so contradicting
There's no room for cheating and being yourself
Failure leaves such a bitter taste in thier mouth

And on the last hour
we write so many new chapters again
And on the outside
where there are no surprises

This ground we tread upon
(We turn the pages left to right)
is now filling up to our necks
(We see everything)

Oh, it's getting longer
(and longer come on')
to see it through their eyes
would bring me so much closer
You can do this night after night, after night
Failure leaves such a bitter taste in my mouth

Taste and see... I swear I know what's good
Be still and know that they won't... lie to you, every
single time you're facing lies

This ground we tread upon
(We turn the pages left to right)
is now filling up to our necks

COME ON!

This ground we tread upon
(We turn the pages left to right)
is now filling up to our necks
(We see everything)
(I knew we'd save you) We see, (We see), We see everything
(I've knew I loved...) We see, (We see), We see everything

(I know why you never take your eyes off me
I've used my lungs for everything but breathing)
I know why you never take your eyes off me
I've used my lungs for everything but breathing

I find myself dried up in this conversation
So pull me out, pull me aside
I find myself dried up in this conversation
So pull me out, pull me aside

This ground we tread upon
(We turn the pages left to right)
This ground we tread upon
(We see everything)

This ground we tread upon
(We turn the pages left to right)
This ground we tread upon
We see...

AFI - Love Like Winter Lyrics

Warn your warmth to turn away
Here it’s December, everyday
Press your lips to the sculptures
And surely you’ll stay (love like winter)
For of sugar and ice.. I am made, I am made

It’s in the blood, it’s in the blood
I met my love before I was born
He wanted love. I taste of blood
He bit my lip, and drank my war
From years before, from years before

She exhales vanilla lace,
I barely dreamt her yesterday (yesterday)..
Rid the lines in the mirror through the lipstick trace:
"Por Siempre."
She said, “It seems you’re somewhere, far away"
[Love Like Winter lyrics on http://www.metrolyrics.com]

To his face.

It’s in the blood, it’s in the blood
I met my love, before I was born
She wanted love, I taste of blood
She bit my lip, and drank my war
From years before, from years before

Love like winter… Oh… Oh…
Love like winter… winter… pray…for…

It’s in the blood, it’s in the blood
I met my love, before I was born
He wanted love, I taste of blood
He bit my lip, and drank my war
From years before, from years before

AFI - Love Like Winter Lyrics

AFI - Summer Shudder Lyrics

Listen when I say, when I say it’s real
Real life goes undefined
Why must you be so missable?
Everything you take, makes it more unreal
Real lies are undefined, how can this be so miserable?

Under the summer rain, I burnt away,
Under the summer rain, (Burn!) You turned away.

(Under the summer rain)

Listen, I can't make, make a sound or feel,
Feel fine, I kissed the lies, why must they be so kissable?
Listen as I break, break the forth wall's seal.
Gorgeous eyes shine suicide, when will we be invisible?

Under the summer rain, I burnt away,
Under the summer rain, (Burn!) We burned away.
Under the summer rain, I burnt away,
Under the summer rain, (Burn!) You turned away.

This is the fall; this is the long way down,
And our lives look smaller now, and our lives look so small,
(Leave me here crying)
This is the fall; this is the long way down
And our lives look smaller now, and our lives look so small…

Under the summer rain, I burnt away
Under the summer rain, (Burn!) We burnt away

Under the summer rain, I burnt away
Under the summer rain, (Burn!) We burnt away

Under the summer rain, (Burn!) I burnt away
Under the summer rain, (Burn!) You turned away..

I'm not a perfect person
There's many things I wish I didn't do
But I continue learning
I never meant to do those things to you
And so I have to say before I go
That I just wnat you to know

I found a reason for me
To change who I used to be
A reason to start over new
And the reason is you

I'm sorry that I hurt you
It's something I must live with every day
And all the pain I put you through
I wish that I could take it all away
And be the one who catches all your tears
That's I need you to hear

I found a reason for me
To change who I used to be
A reason to start over new
And the reason is you [4x]

I'm not a perfect person
I never meant to do those things to you
And so I have to say before I go
That I just wnat you to know

I've a reason for me
To change who I used to be
A reason to start over new
And the reason is you

I've found a reason to show
A side of me you didn't know
A reason for all that I do
And the reason is you

The Punk Goes Acoustic 2 is included in the compilation of Punk Goes album released by Fearless Records. It has a different theme among the other albums in Punk Goes... because the punk rock bands recorded acoustic versions of their own songs instead of cover versions.

Punk Goes Acoustic 2 is a follow-up to Punk Acoustic album that was released in 2003. It has a more emotional version of songs by the featured artists giving it a fully new style and slowed down sound from its original version. It's a great compilation of acoustic album by various punk rock bands.

My favorite songs are "Night Drive" by The All-American Rejects and "Staplegunned" by The Spill Canvas.

The All-American Rejects - Night Drive Lyrics

I know you
so better than the city in the rear view
I drive to
eliminate the ball that I'm chained to

Take me break me
every mile further there's a part of me that slips away
One day you’ll see
Even if you go down on your knees you couldn’t make me stay

Drive all night
Never gonna get me
Night by night
To get away from it all
Fight fight fight
All you wanna do is hurt me
You wrecked my life
So I’m gonna have to drive all night

I'll stay strong
I’m pushing on the pedal til I break dawn
So I’m gone, go find another shoulder you can cry on

Take me break me
every mile further there’s a part of me that slips away
One day you’ll see
Even if you go down on your knees you couldn’t make me stay

Drive all night
Never gonna get me
Night by night
To get away from it all
Fight fight fight
All you wanna do is hurt me
You wrecked my life
So I’m gonna have to drive all night
You wrecked my life
So I’m gonna have to drive all night
You wrecked my life
So I’m gonna have to drive all night

All of the things that you knew that I’d try
All of the things that I held inside
All I gotta do is drive

Drive all night
Never gonna get me
Night by night
To get away from it all
Fight fight fight
All you wanna do is hurt me
You wrecked my life
So I'm gonna have to drive all night
You wrecked my life
So I'm gonna have to drive all night
You wrecked my life
So I'm gonna have to drive all night
You wrecked my life

Losing My Religion lyrics by Scary Kids Scaring Kids

Life is bigger
It's bigger than you
And you are not me
The lengths that I will go to
The distance in your eyes
Oh no I've said too much
I set it up

That's me in the corner
That's me in the spotlight
Losing my religion
Trying to keep up with you
And I don't know if I can do it
Oh no I've said too much
I haven't said enough
I thought that I heard you laughing
I thought that I heard you sing
I think I thought I saw you try

Every whisper
Of every waking hour I'm
Choosing my confessions
Trying to keep an eye on you
Like a hurt lost and blinded fool
Oh no I've said too much
I set it up

Consider this
The hint of the century
Consider this
The slip that brought me
To my knees failed
What if all these fantasies
Come flailing around
Now I've said too much
I thought that I heard you laughing
I thought that I heard you sing
I think I thought I saw you try

But that was just a dream
That was just a dream
That was just a dream

That's me in the corner
That's me in the spotlight
Losing my religion
Trying to keep up with you
And I don't know if I can do it
Oh no I've said too much
I haven't said enough
I thought that I heard you laughing
I thought that I heard you sing
I think I thought I saw you try

But that was just a dream
That was just a dream
That was just a dream

Coheed and Cambria have released three studio and two live albums, and various special-edition re-releases. Each of the band's album represents a corresponding chapter in the five part science fiction concept narrated by Sanchez's lyrics.

The Second Stage Turbine Blade is the first studio album released by the rock band Coheed and Cambria on February 5, 2002 through Equal Vision Records . It was re-released on September 20, 2005 on the same label with three previously unreleased bonus tracks. This album introduces us to Coheed and his wife Cambria and is the second part of the Amory Wars saga.

My favorite songs in the album are "Time Consumer" and "33".

Time Consumer Lyrics by Coheed and Cambria

The young stale memories of, play the role to your part.
Librarian find me the pole the one that kicks your head in.
To my own time role your own innocence by.
Grab on to my sleeve the one that grabs at your ankle.
Debate to understand that we all have a flaw.
Then fail to represent your life as you know it.
God grant you one wish to turn back the time.
Correct and create, making sense of...

Me and my star, Matthew good night.
You know by law, when you'll be forgiven.
Maria my star, Matthew good night
You know my Lord, when you'll be forgiven.

So they pulled your confidence down with those verbal
discrepancies.
Now and then you'll gain what they've lost through a challenge of
unpronounced.
Pain is only a pulse if you just stop feeling it.
You might be able to use the very thing that makes us up.

Me and my star, Matthew good night.
You know by law, when you'll be forgiven.
Maria my star, Matthew good night
You know my Lord

Wait, now, here when will you believe?
Me, I'm merely asking you to help me.
When did I say to murder?
Wait, now, here.
Please hear me out.
Time consumer, time consuming, consume me.
Down, and out.
Now.

Me and my star, Matthew good night.
You know by law, when you'll be forgiven.
Maria my star, Matthew good night
You know my lord, when you'll be forgiven.

Na-ha-ha-haaa
You know, good night.
And I'll promise you that.
Na-ha-ha-haaa
You know, good night.
And I'll promise you that.

Anberlin is a Florida-based alternative rock band that was formed in 2002 formerly known as SaGoh 24/7.The band is also considered as a Christian rock band because all of the members of Amberlin are Christians aside from being a part of a Christian label Tooth & Nail Records and they do have a Christian element to their music which contains apparent religious references. Never Take Friendship Personal is their second album released in February 2005 and the album's title was obtained from the departure of the original guitarist of the band Joey Bruce. This album was chosen as one of Amazon.com's Top 100 Editor's Picks of 2005.

Anberlin - Never Take Friendship Personal Lyrics

There's a hatchet got a knife
When I awoke there was nothing real in this life
But dreams are so intoxicating, (intoxicating)
When you're doing this alone
Gun, rope, brick on the way
But words have no meaning when its you that says
I really do care, no baby I, I really do care!
Innocence gone, never take friendship personal
If you can't hold yourself together
Why should I hold you now?
In a sense gone, never take friendship personal
If you can't hold yourself together
Why should I hold you now?

Once a skeptic, now the critic
And you think that you finally found a place of your own.
Amongst the cold and timid souls
Where only failure knows your name

Look around for the closest to blame
But look no further than the hands beneath your arms
and now your 6 feet down, buried with,
with your passing fame fame fame fame.

Innocence gone, never take friendship personal
If you can't hold yourself together
Why should I hold you now?
In a sense gone, never take friendship personal
If you can't hold yourself together
Why should I hold you now?

Oh, oh, oh, you lie
Tell me something more than what you tried to hide
If you can't find yourself, then how can I expect to find you.
Oh, oh, oh, you cry
Tell me something more than what you try
The greatest tragedy is not your death
But a life without reason, your life has no purpose
Your life has no reason, your life has no purpose

Innocence gone, never take friendship personal
If you can't hold yourself together
Why should I hold you now?
In a sense gone, never take friendship personal
If you can't hold yourself together
Why should I hold you now?

Innosense gone, never take friendship personal
If you can't hold yourself together
Why should I hold you now?

Kid Rock is a rock band from America (originally from Michigan) lead by Detroit rap-rocker Robert James "Kid Rock" Ritchie. Ritchie started his career at the age of 11, as a member of the b-boy group 'The Furious Funkers'. He immersed himself in rap music that eventually honed his craft. He joined Bo Wisdom of Groove Time Productions, in Mt. Clemens, where he performed in a few shows. It was during these shows that he was given his stage name; Wisdom dubbed him with the moniker 'Kid Rock' after fans had enjoyed watching "that white kid rock."

Kid Rock then added some members in his band in 1997 with the drummer/vocalist Stefanie Eulinberg, joining Kenny Olson, Jason Krause, Jimmie Bones, Uncle Kracker, Mike Bradford, and Joe C. In August 1998, Atlantic released Kid Rock's third full-length album "Devil Without a Cause".

Devil Without a Cause wasn't that successful on it's initial release. A big promotional event from the record label and a remarkable performances at MTV's Fashionably Loud and Wanna Be a VJ had helped make the album's second single and video, "Bawitdaba," a nationwide hit. His performance of the song at the 1999 MTV Movie Awards has added further exposure and album sales increase. Devil Without a Cause eventually sold 11 million copies, and currently ranks as the 60th best selling album of all time.

My favorite songs off this album are "Bawitdaba" and "Cowboy"...

Cowboy Lyrics by Kid Rock

Cowboy...cowboy...
Well I'm packing up my game and I'm a head out west
Where real women come equipped with scripts and fake breasts
Find a nest in the hills chill like Flynt
Buy an old droptop find a spot to pimp
And I'm a Kid Rock it up and down your block
With a bottle of scotch and watch lots of crotch
Buy yacht with a flag sayin' chillin' the most
Then rock that bitch up and down the coast
Give a toast to the sun, drink with the stars
Get thrown in the mix and tossed out of bars
Sip the teajuna ...I wanna roam
Find the old town chillin' fools then come back home
Start an escort service, for all the right reasons
And set up shop at the top of four seasons
Kid Rock and I'm the real mccoy
And I'm headin' out west sucker...because I wanna be a
Cowboy baby
With the top let back and the sunshine shining
Cowboy baby
West coast chillin? with the Boone's Wine
I wanna be a Cowboy baby
Ridin' at night 'cause I sleep all day
Cowboy baby
I can smell a pig from a mile away

I bet you'll hear my whistle blowin' when my train rolls in
It goes (whistle) like dust in the wind
Stoned pimp, stoned freak, stoned out of my mind
I once was lost, but now I'm just blind
Palm trees and weeds, scabbed knees and rice
Get a map to the stars, find Heidi Fleiss
And if the price is right I'm gonna make my bid boy

And let Cali-for-ny-aye know why they call me
Cowboy baby
With the top let back and the sunshine shining
Cowboy baby
West coast chillin? with the Boone's Wine
I wanna be a Cowboy baby
Ridin' at night 'cause I sleep all day
Cowboy baby
I can smell a pig from a mile away

Yeah...Kid Rock...you can call me Tex
Rollin' sunset woman with a bottle of Becks
Seen a slimmy in a 'vette, rolled down my glass
And said, "Yeah this dick fits right in your ass"
No kiddin', gun slingin', spurs hittin' the floor
Call me Hoss, I'm the Boss, with the sauce in the horse
No remorse for the sherrif, in his eye I ain't right
I'm gonna paint his town red, and paint his wife white HUH
Cause chaos, rock like Amadeus
Find West Coast pussy for my Detroit players
Mack like mayors, ball like Lakers
They told us to leave, but bet they can't make us
Why they wanna pick on me...lock me up and snort away my key
I ain't no G, I'm just a regular failure
I ain't straight outta compton I'm straight out the trailer
Cuss like a sailor...drink like a Mc (mick...as in Irishman)
My only words of wisdom are just, "Radio Edit." (Suck My Dick)
I'm flickin' my Bic up and down that coast and
Keep on truckin' until it falls into motion

Cowboy
With the top let back and the sunshine shining
Cowboy
Spendin' all my time at Hollywood and Vine
Cowboy
Ridin' at night 'cause I sleep all day
Cowboy
I can smell a pig from a mile away
Cowboy
With the top let back and the sunshine shining
Cowboy
With the top let back and the sunshine shining
Cowboy
Hollywood and Vine

Sick Puppies is a rock band from Sydney, Australia and was formed by singer/lead guitarist Shimon Moore and bassist Emma Anzai in 1997. They're connected because of their shared love for Silverchair. Initially with Shimon on drums and Emma on guitars, the duo would frequently meet up to play Green Day, Rage Against the Machine and Silverchair songs and eventually felt compelled to write their own songs. Soon, Chris Mileski was added to the band to fill in on drums.

Dressed Up as Life is the second album released by Sick Puppies. It was released on April 3, 2007. It peaked at #181 on the U.S. Billboard 200 albums chart. The song "All the Same" is the theme for Juan Mann's Free Hugs Campaign video on YouTube, although it also has its own video. Deutsch Advertising creatives Michael Leibowitz and Eric Rojas oversaw the CD design for "Dressed Up As Life."

My favorite songs off this album are "All The Same" and "My World"...

All The Same Lyrics by Sick Puppies

I don't mind where you come from
As long as you come to me
I don't like illusions I can't see
Them clearly

I don't care no I wouldn't dare
To fix the twist in you
You've shown me eventually
What you'll do

I don't mind...
I don't care...
As long as you're here

Go ahead tell me you'll leave again
You'll just come back running
Holding your scarred heart in hand
It's all the same
And I'll take you for who you are
If you take me for everything
Do it all over again
It's all the same

Hours slide and days go by
Till you decide to come
And in between it always seems too long
All of a sudden

And I have the skill, yeah I have the will
To breathe you in while I can
However long you stay
Is all that I am

I don't mind...
I don't care...
As long as you're here

Go ahead tell me you'll leave again
You'll just come back running
Holding your scarred heart in hand
It's all the same
And I'll take you for who you are
If you take me for everything
Do it all over again
It's always the same

Wrong or right
Black or white
If I close my eyes
It's all the same

In my life
The compromise
I close my eyes
It's all the same

Go ahead say it you're leaving
You'll just come back running
Holding your scarred heart in hand
It's all the same
And I'll take you for who you are
If you take me for everything
Do it all over again
It's all the same

July for Kings, or "JFK", was a Cincinnati, Ohio-based alternative rock band founded by Joe Hedges (vocals, guitar), Sam Dobrozsi (drums), Travis Delaney (guitar), Jason Morgan (bass), and T Miller (cello, guitar). The band was forged in Middletown, Ohio, a steel town between Dayton and Cincinnati, in 1997. July For Kings was known for its melodic guitar-heavy sound and Hedges' introspective, sometimes quirky lyrics.

My favorites songs are "Normal Life" and "New Black Car"..

New Black Car Lyrics

Waiting tables at your restaurant job
an old man reads the paper in the booth
where I stop
to say hello when I? in town
to ask a friend if you?e around.
And I think about those summer nights
we never slept we didn't mind
and I felt so alive and happy
just sitting on the porch
and swinging back and forth
now everything seems so distant

But I promise I? not too far
when you?e alone in your brand new car
driving your new black car
into the rain

Are you listening to the radio
are you driving down a city road
are you alone in your new black car
I imagine you there.

I? sitting by the window here
the morning birds will reappear
and I feel empty
our songs are on the radio
you call me up but I have to go
and I? sorry angel.
I ? sorry.
but I?l call you right back
I swear.
you think I?e left you there
alone with an empty chair
but I whisper your name

Are you listening to the radio
are you driving down a city road
are you alone in your new black car
I imagine you there.
are you listening to the radio
are you driving down a city road
are you alone in your new black car
the wind in your hair

Are you tired of watching the rain hit the glass
all alone but aware of the places we've passed
together we were singing along to the songs
are you now? are you now?
I'm thinking of you in your college town
are you thinking of me as you're driving around
are you listening to me? are you listening?

Are you listening to the radio
are you driving down a city road
are you alone in your new black car
I imagine you there.
are you listening to the radio
are you driving down a winding road
are you alone in your new black car
the wind in your hair
alone in your new black car
I imagine you there
driving your new black car
the wind in your hair

Are you listening to the radio
are you listening to the radio
are you listening to the radio
are you listening to the radio

in the US.

Fall Back Into My Life Lyrics

I know it's not enough to say "I'm wrong"
You know that I will miss you now you're gone
I know it's not your life to see this through
Just know that in my heart, it beats for you
So leave a little note for me behind
I swear I have to know the reasons why
This won't survive

(chorus)
But if you fall back into my life
I'd spend every night
Waking up to the beat I hear inside
Telling me to be your only one
But if you fall back into my life
I promise you I
Would never let another day just pass us by
I could never leave this world undone
I wanna be your only one

And now it's not the same with you away
Just holding on to hope to save my days
I won't survive
So just stay with me tonight

But if you fall back into my life
I'd spend every night
Waking up to the beat I hear inside
Telling me to be your only one
But if you fall back into my life
I promise you I
Would never let another day just pass us by
I could never leave this world unsung
I wanna be your only one

But if you fall back into my life
I'd spend every night
Waking up to the beat I hear inside
Telling me to be your only one
But if you fall back into my life
I promise you I
Would never let another day just pass us by
I could never leave this world undone

I could never leave this world undone
I wanna be your only one

Matt Thiessen – lead vocals, guitar, piano, trumpet, etc. (1998–present)
Matt Hoopes – guitar, backing vocals (1998–present)
Dave Douglas – drums, backing vocals (2000-present)
John Warne – bass, backing vocals (2004–present)
Jon Schneck – guitar, banjo, bells, backing vocals (2005–present)

Relient K is considered to be alternative, pop punk, and Christian rock band that was formed in 1998 in Canton, Ohio. The band named themselves after guitarist Matt Hoopes' Plymouth Reliant K car. The band has received numerous awards including a Grammy nomination in 2003 for Best Rock Gospel Album and two Dove Awards.

All the members are Christians, although some fans have questioned the band being in the Christian rock genre. On the subject of this, lead singer Matt Thiessen stated in an interview:

"Our whole answer is, call us whatever you want. You can call us a Christian band, you can call us a rock and roll band. And we can go out on tour with this band, and we can go out on tour with that band. But we don't care. We're just doing what we do. We're having fun. We write about what we want to write about and, you know, most of the time, that's, you know, our hearts and our faith."

He went on to discuss how one just has to go for faith, and how he compared it to jumping off a cliff in a song ("Life After Death and Taxes (Failure II)").

The band broke into the mainstream in 2004 after Capitol signed them and they released their fourth record, Mmhmm, which debuted at #15 on the Billboard 200, produced three top five hits on Christian radio and two top 20 hits on mainstream radio. Their fifth full length record, Five Score and Seven Years Ago debuted at number six on the U.S. Billboard 200, selling about 64,000 copies in its first week. As of July 11, 2007, it has sold 152,560 copies in the US.

My favorite songs are "Come Right Out And Say It" and "Must Have Done Something Right".

Relient K - Come Right Out And Say It Lyrics

I'd better rest my eyes
Cuz I'm growing weary of
This point you've been trying to make
So rather than imply
Why don't you just verbalize
All the things that you're trying to say

Thought things would turn out so well
But I'm beginning to see
That instead it's trouble
Into a pattern we fell
Of prolonging the inevitable

Why don't you
Come right out and say it
Even if the words are probably gonna hurt
I'd rather have the truth
Than something insincere
Why don't you
Come right out and say it (come right out and say it)
What it is you're thinking
Though I'm thinking it's not what I wanna hear

I gotta check my pride
Because I was starting to think
I was starting something good
I couldn't start it this way
I was sinking in retrospect
And understanding that I misunderstood
I'd like to make up your mind
And then this decision locks up
So tight it couldn't be touched
Thought you were being so kind
But keeping your mouth sealed shut
Rather than just opening it up

Why don't you
Come right out and say it
Even if the words are probably gonna hurt
I'd rather have the truth
Than something insincere
Why don't you
Come right out and say it (come right out and say it)
What it is you're thinking
Though I'm thinking it's not what I wanna hear

And I tried
To guess what goes on in your head
Cuz in your mind
I just might find
All those things you left unsaid
And I'll try to maybe not regret anything
Later on after I'm gone
You'll wish that you
Had listened to me (listened to me)

Why don't you
Come right out and say it
Even if the words are gonna hurt
We're better off this way
Why don't you
Come right out and say come right out and say
What I know you're thinking anyway
Why don't you
Come right out and say it
Even if the words are probably gonna hurt
I'd rather have the truth than something insincere
Why don't you
Come right out and say it (come right out and say it)
What it is you're thinking
And just what it is you're thinking

Sherwood's second full-length album, A Different Light continues the band's unique musical style. The album contains several re-recorded versions of tracks off their Summer EP (2006) as well as new tracks that drift the band into new musical territory. It is the first album since the band signed with MySpace Records and was proceeded by several 'making of' videos available on the band's MySpace. Sherwood - The Best In Me Lyrics

If only you could hear the beat, beat, beat
of my beating heart
then maybe we, we, we
would never be apart
it's a beautiful sky on a beautiful day
but only you can stretch a smile across my face

So I'm waiting, waiting, waiting
for you to be calling, calling, calling
cause its another drive
another day on the road
and honey I don't have the strength for another show, no

And I got it almost figured out
if I could get you closer to me
'cause it's a good life for a short time
(whoa oh, whoa oh)
and you've got me almost figured out
there's almost nothing left to see
you're bringing out the best in me
you're bringing out the best in me

And it's a long way back to the golden state
where the city's held in by a golden gate
like a giant jar full of fireflies
the yellow lights blinking on the mountainside
and I wish I had a plane or a cable car
'cause all I really want is to be in your arms

And I got it almost figured out
if I could get you closer to me
'cause it's a good life for a short time
and you've got me almost figured out
there's almost nothing left to see
you're bringing out the best in me
you're bringing out the best in me

whoa oh oh oh oh
oh oh oh oh oh oh..
oh oh oh oh oh oh..
oh oh oh oh oh oh..
[x4]

And I've got it almost figured out
if I could get you closer to me
'cause it's a good life for a short time
and you've got me almost figured out
(you've got me almost figured out)
you're bringing out the best in me
you're bringing out the best in me...
you're bringing out the best in me...

whoa oh oh oh oh
oh oh oh oh oh oh..
[x2]

you're bringing out the best in me...
(you've got me almost figured out..)
you're bringing out the best in me...
(you've got me almost figured out..)
