Kill Hannah - Lips Like Morphine

I want a girl with lips like morphine,
Knock me out every time they touch me.
I wanna feel a kiss just crush me,
And break me down.

Knock me out (knock me out),
Knock me out (knock me out).
Cause I’ve waited for all my life,
To be here with you tonight. (Hmmmm)

I want a girl with lips like morphine,
Blow a kiss that leaves me gasping.
And I wanna feel that lightning strike me,
And burn me down.

Knock me out (knock me out),
Knock me out (knock me out).
Cause I’ve waited for all my life,
To be here with you tonight.
Just put me on my back,
Knock me out again.

I want a girl with lips like morphine,
Knock me out every time they touch me.
I want a girl with lips like morphine,
To knock me out.

See I’ve waited for all my life,
To be here with you tonight.
Just put me on my back,
Knock me out again.

"Thick as Thieves" was released as the first single off the album and I like the guitar strumming in this song..

Dashboard Confessional - Thick as Thieves Lyrics

Would it kill you to breathe easy?
Only 17 miles lay between you and me
I could make it if I had to
I don't break easily
You got my council, thick as thieves
If there's a crime, we'll keep it secret
For there's only trace amounts left in your blood
You may be a sinner
But you may be justified

Just keep your mouth shut
Keep your guard up
I swear I'll make it right

Will it kill me to breathe?
Not as easy as you think it is
Between you and me,
I could fake it if I have to
I don't break easily
I need your council, thick as thieves
I have no crime to keep a secret
It was hers, it was not mine
Well I may be a sinner,
But it wasn't me this time

Just keep your mouth shut
Keep your guard up
I swear I'll make it right

Well, listen to yourself
There is a hemmorage in your mouth
It won't stop bleeding
Well, you may be the trigger
I will hold the smoking gun
You'll get away clean
I'll keep your secrets 'til the grave has swallowed me
And I will never tell a tortured soul there burning by my side
That I am a sinner
I am a savior
I am a lie

So keep your mouth shut
Keep your guard up
I swear I'll make it right

Matchbox Twenty - How Far We've Come Lyrics

I'm waking up at the start of the end of the world,
but its feeling just like every other morning before,
Now I wonder what my life is going to mean if it's gone,
the cars are moving like a half a mile an hour and I
and I started staring at the passengers who're waving goodbye
can you tell me what was ever really special about me all this time?

chorus:
But I believe the world is burning to the ground
oh well I guess we're gonna find out
let's see how far we've come
let's see how far we've come
Well I, believe, it all, is coming to an end
oh well, I guess, we're gonna pretend,
let's see how far we've come
let's see how far we've come

I think it turned ten o'clock but I don't really know
then I can't remember caring for an hour or so
started crying and I couldn't stop myself
I started running but there's no where to run to
I sat down on the street, took a look at myself
said where you going man you know the world is headed for hell
say all goodbyes if you've got someone you can say goodbye to

I believe the world is burning to the ground
oh well I guess we're gonna find out
let's see how far we've come
let's see how far we've come

Well I, believe, it all, is coming to an end
oh well, I guess, we're gonna pretend,
let's see how far we've come
let's see how far we've come

Its gone gone baby its all gone
there is no one on the corner and there's no one at home
well it was cool cool, it was just all cool
now it's over for me and it's over for you
well its gone gone baby its all gone
there's no one on the corner and there's no one at home
well it was cool cool, it was just all cool
now it's over for me and it's over for you

I believe the world is burning to the ground
oh well I guess we're gonna find out
let's see how far we've come
let's see how far we've come
Well I, believe, it all, is coming to an end
oh well, i guess, we're gonna pretend,
let's see how far we've come, again
let's see how far we've come
let's see how far we've come
let's see how far we've come
let's see how far we've come
let's see how far we've come
let's see how far we've come
let's see how far we've come
let's see how far we've come

She said I dont know
if Ive ever been good enough
Im a little bit rusty,
and I think my head is caving in
And I dont know if
Ive ever really been loved
By the hand thats touched me,
well I feel like something gonna give
And Im a little bit angry, well

This aint over, no not here,
not while I still need you
Around
You dont owe me, we might change
Yeah we just might feel good
(chorus)
I wanna push you around, I will, I will
I wanna push you down, I will, I will
I wanna take you for granted(2x)
I will

She said I dont know
why you ever would lie to me
Like Im a little untrusting
when I think that the truth is
Gonna hurt ya
And I dont why
you couldnt just stay with me
You couldnt stand to be near me
When my face dont seem to want to shine
cuz its a little bit dirty well

Dont just stand there, s
ay nice things to me
Ive been cheated Ive been wronged,
and you
You dont know me, I cant change
I wont do anything at all
(chorus)
Oh but dont bowl me over
Just wait a minute well it kinda fell apart,
things get so
Crazy, crazy
Dont rush this baby(2x)
(chorus)

Snow Patrol is Grammy Award-nominated alternative rock band which formed in Scotland. They are currently based in Glasgow and are signed to Polydor Records. Originally formed as an indie rock band, Snow Patrol have sought a more alternative rock and powerpop sound in recent years on the heels of mainstream success with the songs "Run", "Chasing Cars" and more recently, "Signal Fire" from the Spider-Man 3 soundtrack. The band's latest album, Eyes Open, was nominated for the category of Best British Album at the 2007 BRIT Awards.

Eyes Open is the fourth album and was released May 1, 2006 internationally, and May 9, 2006 in the United States. The first UK single, "You're All I Have", was released on April 24, 2006; The first U.S. single was "Hands Open." The "Special Edition" of the album features a bonus DVD featuring the video for "You're All I Have," the making of the video, and behind-the-scenes footage of the band. Copies of the album leaked onto the Internet in mid-April on various torrent and P2P sites. It was the best selling album in the UK in 2006, selling over 1.5 million copies.

The album's third track, "Chasing Cars", was featured on the second season finale of the ABC prime time hit drama Grey's Anatomy on May 15, 2006. A Grey's Anatomy-themed video of the song can be seen at the ABC website.

Snow Patrol - Chasing Cars Lyrics

We'll do it all
Everything
On our own

We don't need
Anything
Or anyone

If I lay here
If I just lay here
Would you lie with me and just forget the world?

I don't quite know
How to say
How I feel

Those three words
Are said too much
They're not enough

If I lay here
If I just lay here
Would you lie with me and just forget the world?

Forget what we're told
Before we get too old
Show me a garden that's bursting into life

Let's waste time
Chasing cars
Around our heads

I need your grace
To remind me
To find my own

If I lay here
If I just lay here
Would you lie with me and just forget the world?

Forget what we're told
Before we get too old
Show me a garden that's bursting into life

All that I am
All that I ever was
Is here in your perfect eyes, they're all I can see

I don't know where
Confused about how as well
Just know that these things will never change for us at all

If I lay here
If I just lay here
Would you lie with me and just forget the world?

Goo Goo Dolls - Better Days Lyrics

And you asked me what I want this year
and I try to make this kind and clear
just a chance that maybe we'll find better days
'cause I don't need boxes wrapped in strings
and designer love and empty things
just a chance that maybe we'll find better days

So take these words and sing out loud
'cause everyone is forgiven now
'cause tonight's the night the world begins again

I need some place simple where we could live
and something only you can give
and that's faith and trust and peace while we're alive
and the one poor child who saved this world
and there's ten million more who probably could
if we all just stopped and said a prayer for them

So take these words and sing out loud
'cause everyone is forgiven now
'cause tonight's the night the world begins again

I wish everyone was loved tonight
and somehow stop this endless fight
just a chance that maybe we'll find better days

So take these words and sing out loud
'cause everyone is forgiven now
'cause tonight's the night the world begins again

'cause tonight's the night the world begins again

Goo Goo Dolls - Stay With You Lyrics

These streets
Turn me inside out
Everything shines
But leaves me empty still
I'll, I'll burn this lonely house down
If you run with me
If you run with me

I'll stay with you
The walls will fall before we do
So take my hand now
We'll run forever
I can feel the storm inside you
I'll stay with you

And I'm fooled by my own desire
I twist my fate
Just to feel you
And you, you turn me toward the light
And you're one with me
Will you run with me?

I'll stay with you
The walls will fall before we do

So take my hand now
We'll run forever
I can feel the storm inside you
I'll stay with you

Now, come in from your storm
And I, taste you sweet and warm
Take what you need
Take what you need
From me

Now, wake up this world
Wake up tonight
And run to me
Run to me now

I'll stay with you
The walls will fall before we do
So take my hand now
We'll run forever
I can feel the storm inside you
I'll stay with you
I'll stay with you

Saosin is an alternative rock band and originally formed during the summer of 2003 from Newport Beach, California. They partly consist of former members of the band Open Hand.

Saosin CD is the full-length major-label debut record by the rock band Saosin. A limited edition version of the album was also released and included a behind the scenes look into the making of the album as well as music videos of "Bury Your Head" (Saosin EP version) and "Lost Symphonies" (a song first included on the 2003 Translating the Name EP).

"Voices" is my favorite off this album.

Saosin - Voices Lyrics

I miss the part, when we were moving forward now
On our way down
But maybe someday, I'll be something more than love
Just know I'll never tell

And when you're on your way down
[Through the clouds]
And you're waiting for your body's re-entry again

We speak in different voices
When fighting with the ones we've loved
We speak in different voices
Why can't we say what we're thinking of

I'm missing parts, now that you've told me everything
On our way down
And I was blessed and I've forgotten how to love
You said you'd never tell

And when you're on your way down
And you're waiting for your body's re-entry again

We speak in different voices
When fighting with the ones we've loved
We speak in different voices
Why can't we say what we're thinking of

Not even I will tell,

We speak in different voices
When fighting with the ones we've loved
We speak in different voices
We say these things to know they're real.

We speak in different voices
When fighting with the ones we've loved
We speak in different voices
Why can't we say what we're thinking of

We speak in different voices
when fighting with the one's we've loved
We speak in different voices
We speak in different voices

To know they're real. Real.
Ill never

Broken this fragile thing now

And I've thrown my words all around
But I can't, I can't give you a reason
I feel so broken up (so broken up)
And I give up (I give up)
I just want to tell you so you know

(Chorus)
Here I go, scream my lungs out and try to get to you
You are my only one
I let go, but there's just no one that gets me like you do
You are my only, my only one

Made my mistakes, let you down
And I can't, I can't hold on for too long
Ran my whole life in the ground
And I can't, I can't get up when you're gone

And something's breaking up (breaking up)
I feel like giving up (like giving up)
I won't walk out until you know

(Chorus)
Here I go, scream my lungs out and try to get to you
You are my only one
I let go, but there's just no one that gets me like you do
You are my only my only one

(Music Intro)

Here i go
so dishonestly leave a note
for you my only one
and i know
you can see right through me
so let me go
and you will find someone

Here I go, scream my lungs out and try to get to you
You are my only one
I let go, there's just no one...no one like you
You are my only my only one

Fall Out Boy (commonly abbreviated as FOB) is an American rock band from Wilmette, Illinois, (a suburb of Chicago) that formed in 2001.

From Under the Cork Tree CD is the third full-length album released on May 3, 2005 from Fall Out Boy and their major label debut on Island Records. The title is taken from a line in the book The Story of Ferdinand by Munro Leaf. The album cover features a van with a trailer in a slump of snow. This is a reference to their car accident they took place in while on the way to New York to film the video for "Grand Theft Autumn/Where Is Your Boy" from their album Take This to Your Grave.

Three singles were released from this album: "Sugar, We're Goin Down"(my personal favorite), "Dance, Dance" and "A
Little Less Sixteen Candles, a Little More 'Touch Me'".

Fall Out Boy - Sugar We're Going Down Lyrics

Am I more than you bargained for yet
I've been dying to tell you anything you want to hear
Cause that's just who I am this week
Lie in the grass, next to the mausoleum
I'm just a notch in your bedpost
But you're just a line in a song
(A notch in your bedpost, but you're just a line in a song)

Drop a heart, break a name
We're always sleeping in, and sleeping for the wrong team

We're going down, down in an earlier round
And Sugar, we're going down swinging
I'll be your number one with a bullet
A loaded God complex, cock it and pull it
[x2]

Is this more than you bargained for yet
Oh don't mind me I'm watching you two from the closet
Wishing to be the friction in your jeans
Isn't it messed up how I'm just dying to be him
I'm just a notch in your bedpost
But you're just a line in a song
(Notch in your bedpost, but you're just a line in a song)

Drop a heart, break a name
We're always sleeping in, and sleeping for the wrong team

We're going down, down in an earlier round
And Sugar, we're going down swinging
I'll be your number one with a bullet
A loaded God complex, cock it and pull it
[x2]

Down, down in an earlier round
And Sugar, we're going down swinging
I'll be your number one with a bullet
A loaded God complex, cock it and pull it

We're going down, down in an earlier round
(Take aim at myself)
And Sugar, we're going down swinging
(Take back what you said)
I'll be your number one with a bullet
(Take aim at myself)
A loaded God complex, cock it and pull it

We're going down, down (down, down)
Down, down (down, down)
We're going down, down (down, down)
A loaded God complex, cock it and pull it

We're going down, down in an earlier round
(Take aim at myself)
And Sugar, we're going down swinging
(Take back what you said)
I'll be your number one with a bullet
(Take aim at myself)
A loaded God complex, cock it and pull it

Panic! At The Disco - I Write Sins Not Tragedies Lyrics

"I Write Sins Not Tragedies"

Oh, well imagine, as I'm pacing the pews in a church corridor,
and I can't help but to hear,
no I can't help but to hear an exchanging of words:
"What a beautiful wedding!
What a beautiful wedding!" says a bridesmaid to a waiter.
"And yes, but what a shame,
what a shame, the poor groom's bride is a whore."

I'd chime in with a "Haven't you people ever heard of closing a goddamn door?!"
No, it's much better to face these kinds of things with a sense of poise and rationality.
I'd chime in, "Haven't you people ever heard of closing a goddamn door?!"
No, it's much better to face these kinds of things with a sense of...

Well in fact, well I'll look at it this way,
I mean technically our marriage is saved
Well this calls for a toast,
so pour the champagne
Oh! Well in fact, well I'll look at it this way,
I mean technically our marriage is saved
Well this calls for a toast, so pour the champagne,
pour the champagne

I'd chime in with a "Haven't you people ever heard of closing a goddamn door?!"
No, it's much better to face these kinds of things with a sense of poise and rationality.
I'd chime in, "Haven't you people ever heard of closing a goddamn door?!"
No, it's much better to face these kinds of things with a sense of poise and rationality.

Again...

I'd chime in, "Haven't you people ever heard of closing a goddamn door?!"
No, it's much better to face these kinds of things with a sense of poise and rationality.
I'd chime in, "Haven't you people ever heard of closing a goddamn door?!"
No, it's much better to face these kinds of things with a sense of poise and rationality.

Again...

Incubus - Anna-Molly Lyrics

A cloud hangs over this city by the sea,
I watch the ships pass and wonder if she might be, (might be)
Out there and sober as well from loneliness,
Please do persist girl it's time we met and made a mess

I picture your face at the back of my eyes,
A fire in the attic, proof of the prize!
Anna Molly, Anna Molly, Anna Molly,
Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo do Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo do

A cloud hangs over and mutes my happiness,
A thousand ships couldn't sail me back from distress, (distress)
Wish you were here, I'm a wounded satellite,
I need you now, put me back together, make me right

I picture your face at the back of my eyes,
A fire in the attic, proof of the prize!
Anna Molly, Anna Molly, Anna Molly,
I'm calling your name up into the air,
Not one of the others could ever compare,
Anna Molly, Anna Molly!

Wait... there is a light... there is a fire...
Illuminated attic,
Fate? Or something better? I couldn't care less,
Just stay with me a while,
Wait... there is a light... there is a fire,
Defragmenting the attic,
Fate? Or something better? I couldn't care less,
Just stay with me a while

I picture your face at the back of my eyes,
A fire in the attic, proof of the prize!
Anna Molly, Anna Molly, Anna Molly,
I'm calling your name up into the air,
Not one of the others could ever compare,
Anna Molly, Anna Molly!

Wait... there is a light... there is a fire
Defragmenting the attic, (Anna Molly!)
Fate? Or something better? I could care less,
Just stay with me a while (Anna Molly!)

Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo do Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo do do (OH!)

The Starting Line - Island Lyrics

Let's sail away
Find our own country
We'll build a house and beds out of palm trees
Let's get away
Let's push our lives aside

I'll sport a smile
Take in some color
Under the stars
I'll be your lover
With no distractions I'm gonna treat you right

Well it seems like things are only getting better
Well it seems like we can never catch a break

Just a keep a hold on me don't let go
If you float away, if you float away
Waiting too long for a ship to come
Don't you float away, don't you float away

Let's go to bed
Let's stop debating
Look at the time
We're always waiting
But we're in love
And that should be just fine

Well it seems like things are only getting better
Well it seems like we can never catch a break

Just keep a hold on me don't let go
If you float away, if you float away
Waiting too long for a ship to come
Don't you float away, don't you float away
[x2]

And if you like (and if you like)
and if you like some other time
I would like to introduce you to the finer things
If we survive (if we survive)
If we survive, get out alive
I'd like to say how beautiful I think you...

Just a keep a hold on me don't let go
If you float away, if you float away
Waiting too long for a ship to come
Don't you float away, don't you float away

3 Doors Down - Here Without You lyrics

A hundred days have made me older
Since the last time that I saw your pretty face
A thousand lies have made me colder
And I don't think I can look at this the same
But all the miles that separate
Disappear now when I'm dreaming of your face

I'm here without you baby
But you're still on my lonely mind
I think about you baby
And I dream about you all the time
I'm here without you baby
But you're still with me in my dreams
And tonight it's only you and me

The miles just keep rollin'
As the people leave their way to say hello
I've heard this life is overrated
But I hope that it gets better as we go

I'm here without you baby
But you're still on my lonely mind
I think about you baby
And I dream about you all the time
I'm here without you baby
But you're still with me in my dreams
And tonight girl its only you and me

Everything I know, and anywhere I go
It gets hard but it wont take away my love
And when the last one falls
When it's all said and done
It gets hard but it wont take away my love

I'm here without you baby
But you're still on my lonely mind
I think about you baby
And I dream about you all the time
I'm here without you baby
But you're still with me in my dreams
And tonight girl its only you and me

The American rock band, My Chemical Romance (often abbreviated as MCR), was formed in 2001. The band signed to Eyeball Records and released their debut album "I Brought You My Bullets" and "You Brought Me Your Love" in 2002. They signed with Reprise Records the next year and released their major label debut "Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge" in 2004. The album was a major commercial success, selling over two million copies due in part to the success of the singles "Helena", "I'm Not Okay (I Promise)", and "The Ghost of You". The band followed this success with 2006's The Black Parade, featuring their hit singles, "Welcome to the Black Parade", "Famous Last Words", "I Don't Love You" and "Teenagers". While the band identifies their sound as simply "rock", the subgenre of the band's recordings has been a subject of debate among fans and the media.

The Black Parade is the third studio album by the rock quintet My Chemical Romance, released in October 2006. It is a concept album, and a rock opera centering on a character known as "The Patient", who dies during the course of the CD. The album presents the story of his passage out of life, and his subsequent reflection on his life.

The album spawned "Welcome to the Black Parade", "Famous Last Words", "I Don't Love You", and "Teenagers" as its first four singles. My Chemical Romance has embarked on a global tour promoting The Black Parade, consisting of two separate North American trips and a European leg.

"Welcome to the Black Parade" and "I Don't Love You" were the songs i liked most off this album.

My Chemical Romance - Welcome To The Black Parade Lyrics

When I was a young boy,
My father took me into the city
To see a marching band.
He said,
"Son when you grow up, will you be the saviour of the broken,
The beaten and the damned?"
He said
"Will you defeat them, your demons, and all the non believers, the plans that they have made?"
Because one day I leave you,
A phantom to lead you in the summer,
To join the black parade."

When I was a young boy,
My father took me into the city
To see a marching band.
He said,
"Son when you grow up, will you be the saviour of the broken,
The beaten and the damned?"

Sometimes I get the feeling she's watching over me.
And other times I feel like I should go. Through it all, the rise and fall, the bodies in the streets.
When you're gone we want you all to know We'll Carry on,
We'll Carry on
Though your dead and gone believe me Your memory will carry on
Carry on
We'll carry on
And in my heart I cant contain it
The anthem wont explain it.

And we will send you reeling from decimated dreams
Your misery and hate will kill us all
So paint it black and take it back
Lets shout it loud and clear
Do you fight it to the end
We hear the call to
To carry on
We'll carry on
Though your dead and gone believe me Your memory will carry on
We'll carry on
And though you're broken and defeated You're weary widow marches on

And on we carry through the fears
Ooh oh ohhhh
Disappointed faces of your peers Ooh oh ohhhh
Take a look at me cause
I could not care at all Do or die
You'll never make me
Cause the world, will never take my heart
You can try, you'll never break me
Want it all,
I'm gonna play this part
Wont explain or say i'm sorry
I'm not ashamed,
I'm gonna show my scar
You're the chair, for all the broken Listen here, because it's only..
I'm just a man,
I'm not a hero
Just a boy, who's meant to sing this song
Just a man,
I'm not a hero
I -- don't -- care
Carry on
We'll carry on
Though your dead and gone believe me Your memory will carry on
We'll carry on
And though you're broken and defeated You're weary widow marches on
We'll carry on
We'll carry on
We'll carry on
We'll carry
We'll carry on

The band describes Under the Iron Sea as a progression from Hopes and Fears with electronic influences, describing the record as a "sinister fairytale-world-gone-wrong".

My favorite track off this album "Is It Any Wonder?".

Keane - Is It Any Wonder Lyrics

I
I always thought that I knew
I'd always have the right to
Be living in the kingdom of the good and true
and so on

but now I think how I was wrong
And you were laughing along
And now I look a fool for thinking you were on, my side

Is it any wonder I'm tired
Is it any wonder that I feel uptight
Is it any wonder I don't know what's right

Sometimes
It's hard to know where I stand
It's hard to know where I am
Well maybe it's a puzzle I don't understand

But sometimes
I get the feeling that I'm
Stranded in the wrong time
Where love is just a lyric in a children's rhyme, a soundbite

Is it any wonder that I'm tired
Is it any wonder that I feel uptight
Is it any wonder I don't know what's right
oh, these days
After all the misery you made
Is it any wonder that I feel afraid
Is it any wonder that I feel betrayed

Nothing left inside this old cathedral
Just the sad lonely spires
How do you make it right

Oh, but you try
Is it any wonder I'm tired
Is it any wonder that I feel uptight
Is it any wonder I don't know what's right
oh, these days
After all the misery you made
Is it any wonder that I feel afraid
Is it any wonder that I feel betrayed

My favorite track off this album is "The Curse of Curves".

Cute Is What We Aim For - The Curse Of Curves Lyrics

I've got the gift of one liners
And you've got the curse of curves
And with this gift I compose words
And the question that comes forward
Are you perspiring from the irony
Or sweating to these lyrics
And this just in
You're a dead fit
But my wit won't allow it
The inside lingo had me at hello
And we go where the money goes
The inside lingo had me at hello
And we go where the money goes

I want someone provocative and talkative
But it's so hard when you're shallow as a shower
And from what I've heard with skin you'll win

Her bone structure screams
"Touch her! Touch her!"
And she's got the curse of curves
So with the combination of my gift with one liners
And my way
My way with words
It seems I'm too hip to keep tight lipped
And you're on the gossip team
You're making something out of nothing
And jealousy's the cousin, the cousin of greed
The inside lingo had me at hello
And we go where the money goes
The inside lingo had me at hello
And we go where the money goes

I want someone provocative and talkative
But it's so hard when you're shallow as a shower
And from what I've heard with skin you'll win

Her bone structure screams (I want someone)
"Touch her! Touch her!"
And she's got the curse, the curse of: (I want someone)
From what I've heard with skin you'll win

We All have teeth that can bite underneath
To where the reality grows
Yeah, that's where mine go
that's where mine go
We all have teeth that can bite underneath
To where the reality grows
Yeah that's where mine go
Where the reality grows:
From what I've heard with skin you'll win
And from what I've heard with skin you'll win

I want someone provocative and talkative
But it's so hard when you're shallow as a shower
And from what I've heard with skin you'll win

Her bone structure screams (I want someone)
"Touch her! Touch her!"
And she's got the curse, the curse of: (I want someone)
From what I've heard with skin you'll win
With skin you'll win
Skin you'll win

Boys Like Girls - The Great Escape Lyrics

Paper bags and plastic hearts
our belongings in shopping carts
It's goodbye
But we got one more night
Let's get drunk and drive around
And make peace with an empty town
We can make it right

Throw it away
Forget yesterday
We'll make the great escape
Won't hear a word they say
They don't know us anyway
Watch it burn
Let it die
'Cause we are finally free tonight

Tonight will change our lives
It's so good to be by your side
We'll cry
We won't give up the fight
We'll scream loud at the top of our lungs
And they'll think it's just 'cause we're young
And we'll feel so alive

Throw it away
Forget yesterday
We'll make the great escape
Won't hear a word they say
They don't know us anyway
Watch it burn
Let it die
'Cause we are finally free tonight

All of the wasted timing
Hours that were left behind me
Answers that we'll never find
They don't mean a thing tonight

Throw it away
Forget yesterday
We'll make the great escape
won't hear a word they say
They don't know us anyway

Throw it away
Forget yesterday
We'll make the great escape
Won't hear a word they say
They don't know us anyway

Throw it away
forget yesterday
We'll make the great escape
won't hear a word they say
they don't know us anyway
Watch it burn
Let it die
'Cause we are finally free tonight

Paramore - Misery Business Lyrics

I'm in the business of misery, let's take it from the top
She's got a body like an hourglass it's ticking like a clock
It's a matter of time before we all run out...
When I thought he was mine, she caught him by the mouth

I waited eight long months
She finally set him free
I told him I couldn't lie, he was the only one for me
Two weeks we had caught on fire
She's got it out for me, but I wear the biggest smile

Whoa...well I never meant to brag
But I got him where I want him now
Whoa... it was never my intention to brag
To steal it all away from you now
But God does it feels so good
'Cause I got him where I want him now
And if you could then you know you would
'Cause God it just feels so...
It just feels so good

Second chances they don't never matter, people never change
Once a whore, you're nothing more, I'm sorry that'll never change
And about forgiveness, we're both supposed to have exchanged
I'm sorry honey, but I passed up, now look this way!

Well there's a million other girls who do it just like you
Looking as innocent as possible to get to who
They want it what they like, it's easy if you do it right

Well I refuse, I refuse, I refuse!

Whoa...well I never meant to brag
But I got him where I want him now
Whoa... it was never my intention to brag
To steal it all away from you now
But God does it feels so good
'Cause I got him where I want him right now
And if you could then you know you would
'Cause God it just feels so...
It just feels so good ...

I watched his wildest dreams come true
Not one of them involving you
Just watch my wildest dreams come true
Not one of them involving ...

Whoa, well I never meant to brag
But I got him where I want him now ...

Whoa, well I never meant to brag
But I got him where I want him now
Whoa... it was never my intention to brag
To steal it all away from you now
But God does it feels so good
'Cause I got him where I want him now
And if you could then you know you would
'Cause God it just feels so...
It just feels so good

Breaking Benjamin is an alternative metal band formed in 1998 from Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. The name "Breaking Benjamin" comes from Benjamin Burnley's early solo experience. Burnley was covering a Nirvana song during an open-mic night at a club when he dropped the microphone to the ground, breaking it. The person who owned the microphone came on stage and said, 'Thanks to Benjamin for breaking my fucking mic.'

Phobia is the third studio album by post-grunge/hard rock quartet Breaking Benjamin. It was recorded at The Barbershop Studios in Hopatcong, New Jersey. It was released on August 8, 2006 and quickly sold out at major retail chains such as Best Buy and Target. The album sold 131,000 copies in its first week, which made it the fastest selling and highest charting Breaking Benjamin album to date, hitting #2 on the US Billboard Top 200.

My favorite song off this album is "Diary of Jane".

Breaking Benjamin - Diary of Jane Lyrics

If I had to
I would put myself right beside you
So let me ask
Would you like that?
Would you like that?

And I don't mind
If you say this love is the last time
So now I'll ask
Do you like that?
Do you like that?

No

Something's getting in the way
Something's just about to break
I will try to find my place in the diary of Jane
So tell me how it should be

Try to find out what makes you tick
As I lie down
Sore and sick
Do you like that?
Do you like that?
There's a fine line between love and hate
And I don't mind
Just let me say that I like that
I like that

Something's getting in the way
Something's just about to break
I will try to find my place in the diary of Jane
As I burn another page
As I look the other way
I still try to find my place in the diary of Jane
So tell me how it should be

Desperate, I will crawl
Waiting for so long
No love, there is no love
Die for anyone
What have I become

Something's getting in the way
Something's just about to break
I will try to find my place in the diary of Jane
As I burn another page
As I look the other way
I still try to find my place
In the diary of Jane

The first single from the album, "It's Not Over," debuted on the radio on December 6, 2006, after being delayed from a planned September release.[5] The self-titled[7] debut album, which was produced by Howard Benson, was released by 19 Entertainment and RCA Records on November 21, 2006.[5] The song was an instant success, shooting up the Billboard Hot 100 reaching #4 and hitting the top 3 in several other charts. "It's Not Over" bears a somewhat strong resemblance to Fuel's hit song "Hemorrhage (In my Hands)" (the two songs share a similar key and chord progression, among other elements), which Chris Daughtry performed on American Idol on March 1, 2006.

Current Band members

Chris Daughtry – Vocals, guitar
Brian Craddock – Rhythm guitar, vocals
Josh Steely – Lead Guitar

My favorite tracks off this album are "It's not over", "Home" and "What About Now"...

Daughtry - Home Lyrics

I'm staring out into the night,
Trying to hide the pain.
I'm going to the place where love
And feeling good don't ever cost a thing.
And the pain you feel's a different kind of pain.

I'm going home,
Back to the place where I belong,
And where your love has always been enough for me.
I'm not running from.
No, I think you got me all wrong.
I don't regret this life I chose for me.
But these places and these faces are getting old
So I'm going home.
Well I'm going home.

The miles are getting longer, it seems,
The closer I get to you.
I've not always been the best man or friend for you.
But your love, remains true.
And I don't know why.
You always seem to give me another try.

So I'm going home,
Back to the place where I belong,

And where your love has always been enough for me.
I'm not running from.
No, I think you got me all wrong.
I don't regret this life I chose for me.
But these places and these faces are getting old.

Be careful what you wish for,
'Cause you just might get it all.
You just might get it all,
And then some you don't want.
Be careful what you wish for,
'Cause you just might get it all.
You just might get it all, yeah.

Oh, well I'm going home,
Back to the place where I belong,
And where your love has always been enough for me.
I'm not running from.
No, I think you got me all wrong.
I don't regret this life I chose for me.
But these places and these faces are getting old.
I said these places and these faces are getting old.
So I'm going home.
I'm going home.

Daughtry - Home Lyrics

Daughtry - What About Now Lyrics

Shadows fill an empty heart
As love is fading,
From all the things that we are
But are not saying.
Can we see beyond the scars
And make it to the dawn?

Change the colors of the sky.
And open up to
The ways you made me feel alive,
The ways I loved you.
For all the things that never died,
To make it through the night,
Love will find you.

What about now?
What about today?
What if you're making me all that I was meant to be?
What if our love never went away?
What if it's lost behind words we could never find?
Baby, before it's too late,
What about now?

The sun is breaking in your eyes
To start a new day.
This broken heart can still survive
With a touch of your grace.
Shadows fade into the light.
I am by your side,
Where love will find you.

What about now?
What about today?
What if you're making me all that I was meant to be?
What if our love, it never went away?
What if it's lost behind words we could never find?
Baby, before it's too late,
What about now?

Now that we're here,
Now that we've come this far,
Just hold on.
There is nothing to fear,
For I am right beside you.
For all my life,
I am yours.

What about now?
What about today?
What if you're making me all that I was meant to be?
What if our love never went away?
What if it's lost behind words we could never find?

What about now?
What about today?
What if you're making me all that I was meant to be?
What if our love never went away?
What if it's lost behind words we could never find?
Baby, before it's too late,
Baby, before it's too late,
Baby, before it's too late,
What about now?
