Collective Soul is an American Post-grunge/Rock band from Stockbridge, Georgia. They have been enjoying major popularity on alternative rock and mainstream rock radio. Seven of their singles reached the #1 position on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Trackschart. Their music is characterized by heavy guitar riffs and catchy melodies. Their lyrics are generally spiritual and thought provoking in nature.

Hints, Allegations And Things Left Unsaid is their debut album and was first released on a small indie label in Atlanta, GA, called Rising Storm records. The album attracted attention to the band and they signed on with Atlantic and re-released the album in 1994 under the Atlantic Records label.
