Cartel is an American pop rock band formed in 2003 from Conyers, Georgia. "Chroma" is their debut full length album and was re-released on June 13, 2006 under Epic Records. This album also put them on Alternative Press's 2005 list of "Bands You Need to Know". They were also named Yahoo! Music's winner in the "Who's Next" competition and a Breaker artist by AOL music on March 2006.

The album's first week of release sold over 3,000 copies becoming record label The Militia Group's most successful new artist release. The hit single Honestly launched the album to the charts including the #1 debut on Soundscan's Alternative New Artist Charts. The album also made it to the top 20 in over 50 independent record store's sales charts. The band's second single, "Say Anything (Else)", was featured in Madden NFL '07.
